Darlene B. Risteter

Darlene B. (Yates) Risteter , 73, of Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Monday morning, July 15, 2024, in her home.  Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Ephrium and Anna (Stickler) Yates.

Darlene was employed as a clerk for the US Postal Service, Palmerton 18071, for over 25 years, retiring in 2019.  She also worked for the former Palmerton Hospital Gift Shop.  She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton.  Darlene was a 1969 graduate of the Tamaqua High School.  She was a member of the Palmerton Concourse Club, and the Red Hats.

Survivors: Sons, Christopher W. Moses of Lower Towamensing Township, and Jarod L. Moses with whom she resided.  Grandson, Angelus R. Moses of Lower Towamensing Township.  Sister, Aleta Paul of Normal Square.  Brother, Ephrium D. Yates of Andreas.
