David "Dave" A. Singleton

David A. Singleton, 73, of Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, formerly of Bangor, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Friday morning, September 20, 2019, in his home.  He was the husband of Diane M. (Seip) Singleton since February 19, 2006.  Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a son of the late Jacque E. and Darthey L. (Fenstermaker) Singleton.

Dave was employed by the CF. Martin Guitar Company, Nazareth, retiring after 40 years of service.  An avid life-time guitarist himself, he was a member of many bands, including Country Rhythm Band, Four On The Floor Band, Nite Train Band, and the John Hanby Band.  Dave served his country honorably in the Army, during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors: Dave leaves behind the Love of His Life, Diane and their beloved Shih Tzu, Boo Boo.  Daughter, Ashley Harper of Oxford, NJ.  Sons, Alan D. Singleton and fiancée Candice Kark of Alpha, NJ, Daniel P. and wife Trish Seymour of Lock Haven, Arthur P. Seymour, Jr. of Kunkletown.  13 grandchildren.  Brother, Larry and wife Marianne Singleton.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Dave and Diane are predeceased by a son, Shawn Seymour and a daughter-in-law, Stacy Seymour.  Dave was predeceased by a sister, Carol Cuono, and a brother, Daniel.

Services: Dave will be remembered by all who knew him for his incomparable sense of humor, his passion for music, and his fierce love of life.  A Celebration of Dave's Life, love, travel, conquests, exploits and status as a bar room rock legend will be held on Sunday, October, 13, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Wind Gap American Legion Post 724, 217 N.
