David C. Dailey, 83, of Timberline Road, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, PA, died peacefully Friday afternoon, October 2, 2026, in his home. He was the husband of Brenda D. (Dieter) Dailey since Sept 10, 1977. Born in Walnutport, he was a son of the late Orvis J. Dailey and the late Ann (Dudla) Meinhart.
David was employed in the assembly department of Precision Medical Co., Northampton, until retiring in 2005. Previously, he worked as a mechanic for the former MTS Trucking Co., and the former Matlack Trucking Co., both of Northampton. David was a member of St. Peter's Church, Emerald, Washington Township. As an avid wood worker, David enjoyed making and donating many crosses over the years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved tinkering in his shop, garage, and caring for his puppies.
Survivors: Wife. Daughters, Martha A. Henning, Patti A. Osgood, both of Lehighton, and Kathy M. Weiss of Walnutport. Sons, Darryl R. and wife Lynne Mack of Walnutport, Allen D. Dailey of Palmerton, and Daniel O. Dailey of Parryville. 10 grandchildren. 9 great grandchildren. Sister, Elzabeth wife of Richard Fogelman of Slatington. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, James, and Robert.
Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at St. Peter's Church, 7860 Center Street, Slatington (Emerald), PA 18080. Call, 10-11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the church. Interment, Indianland Cemetery, Almond Road, Lehigh Twp. Arrangements, Campton Funeral home, Palmerton. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.
