David D. Druckenmiller , 63 of Coplay- North Whitehall Twsp., PA passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA. Born November 26, 1960 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Druckenmiller and the late Patricia (Burkhardt) Druckenmiller. He was the husband of Jill (Geiss) Druckenmiller with whom he shared 36 years of marriage this past May 16, 2023.
David was a 1978 graduate of Northampton High school who furthered his education earning a Bachelors degree in Finance from Penn State University in 1982. He was employed in the Banking industry for 37 years, with his last position as Regional Manager for Key Bank working out of Slatington, PA until retiring in 2019. David was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Laury's Station, PA, Board member of the Lehigh Valley Zoo, Schnecksville, PA. He was a Master Mason with the F.& A.M. Chapman Lodge # 637, Northampton, PA. David was very active with sports in the Lehigh Valley, starting with being a coach years ago for Northampton Legion Baseball. He then coached his children as they participated in Softball, Baseball, and Basketball in the Parkland School District. His love of sports enticed him to get involved with Broadcasting which grew into working and broadcasting with ESPN Radio and even starting his own L.V. Sports Network.
Surviving along with his wife Jill are son, Nicholas Druckenmiller & companion Diva Mercer of Lexington Park, MD, daughters, Caitlin P. wife of Fleming Paredes of Lexington Park, MD and Courtney B. wife of Matthew Sawyer of Ocean City, NJ, sister, Cheryl wife of Jeffrey Bell of Fogelsville, PA; A granddaughter, Serena.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 2, 2024 at St. John's United Church of Christ - Laury's Station, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, PA. 18059. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067, and Sat, March 2, 2024 in the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Danielsville Union Cemetery, Danielsville, PA.
Contributions : May be made in his memory to St. John's UCC Church Memorial fund or The Lehigh Valley Zoo, both care of the funeral home.
