David L. Fillmore

David L. Fillmore , 79 of Lower Nazareth Township, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at his home. Born January 6, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Birchard) Fillmore.

He was employed by the New York Life Insurance Company where he retired as an Assistant Vice President. He was also a geologist and paleontologist, having graduated from Pratt University, Kutztown University, and Queens College. He enjoyed researching genealogy, spending time with his dog Tank Top, and meeting with his friends at the TicToc Diner, Easton.

He is survived by his son, Christopher H. Fillmore of Saylorsburg, daughter, Danielle Fillmore of Florida, sister, Ann Fillmore of Portland, Oregon, Nephews, Dan Seger and Ken Lauridsen, both of Portland Oregon. He was predeceased by his former wife, Francine (Lagana) Fillmore, who passed away on October 8, 2015.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Caron Foundation, an organization that David supported, in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
