David C. Fritzinger , Sr., 91 of Whitehall, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Jewel Healthcare and Rehab, Allentown. Born January 23, 1933 in Cementon, he was the son of the late Nevin Fritzinger, Sr. and the late Mildred (Yeager)Fritzinger. He was the husband of the late Betty (Snyder) Fritzinger who passed away on September 30, 2013.
David was a Truckdriver for Pitt Ohio Trucking, Center Valley, for twenty years until retiring in 2013. Prior to that he worked in the same capacity for Black & Decker, Allentown, for fifteen years. David was a former Special Police Officer for the Whitehall police department for several years. He was a member of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club, and he enjoyed bowling with several mixed leagues throughout the Lehigh Valley.
David is survived by a son, David C. Fritzinger, Jr. and wife Sheila of New Ringgold, daughters, Sherri L. Mazziotta of Whitehall, and Cynthia M. wife of Stephen Gaspar of Walnutport, sister, Shirley Gerny of West Palm Beach, FL, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Nevin, Jr., Ralph, James, and Alfred, and three sisters; Lana, Linda, and Sandra.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Whitehall Mennonite Church (4138 Wilson Street, Whitehall, PA 18052). Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitehall Mennonite Church in care of the funeral home.
