David D. Hauser,
69, of West Sunset Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, Pennsylvania, died early Monday morning, January 1, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of Rose M. (Hansut) Hauser since July 30, 1966. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late William "Mosey" H., Jr. and Isabella F. (Neff) Hauser.
David was employed at Horsehead Industries, Palmerton, former New Jersey Zinc Company, for 31 years until retiring in 2001. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting, camping, and horseback riding.
Survivors: Wife, Rose. Daughters, Lorrie M. Eckhart, Lynne M. Goerlitz, Lisa M. Hauser and fiancé Michael Shupp, all of Lehighton. Son, David J., of Lehighton. 4 grandchildren, Casey, Christie, Amanda, and Matthew. 2 great-grandsons, Kaeden, Bryson. Brothers, Joseph and wife Nancy of Lehighton, Daniel of Hamburg. 3 nephews.
