David M. Kern,
age 70 of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 1, 2017. He was the loving husband of Gina Kern and son of the late Marlen and Arlene (Peters) Kern.
Dave proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for PP & L for 35 years and in retirement did what he loved best, driving cars for dealer trades and private driving for customers who became cherished friends. He was an avid Penn State fan, never missing a football game.
Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gina, son, Matthew D. Kern and wife Karen, grandchildren Chloe and Asher, sister, Janet wife of Lynn Jones, his faithful four legged companion Brindie and all of his other relatives and friends.
Services: The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania 18064.
Contribution: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Luke's Hospice House, or St. Luke's Cancer Care, all in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
