David M. Pettit

David M. Pettit, 71, of Church Road, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Twp, died Friday morning, August 19, 2022, at VNA Hospice House St. Luke's, Bethlehem.

He was the husband of Doreen C. (Unangst) Pettit since Jan 24, 1976.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Newton A. and Laura (Strohl) Pettit.

David was employed for many years as a meat cutter by the former A and B Meat Co. Allentown. Later, he worked in landscaping, and as a kitchen cabinet installer for Blue Mountain Woodworking. David enjoyed welding, tinkering, and doing general repairs around the home.

Survivors: wife. daughter, Jennifer wife of Lance Szoke of Jim Thorpe. grandson, Logan Szoke. aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles, and Brock.
