David P. Schaller

David P. Schaller , 71, of Washington Avenue, Northampton, died peacefully Saturday morning, August 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown, He was the husband of the late Diane M. (Hunsberger) Schaller who passed in 2014. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Walma (Keiser) Schaller.

David was employed as a technician, trim and chroming dept of the former Dent Manufacturing Co., Northampton. He attended Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton. David was a member former fireman, and past secretary of the Northampton Vol. Fire Department for many years. An avid hunter in his early years, he enjoyed being outside, NASCAR, the Phila Eagles, and watching episodes of General Hospital. He was also a 1971 graduate of the Whitehall-Coplay High School.

Survivors: daughters, April M. Schaller of Coplay, Valerie A. Schaller of Whitehall, Jennifer L. Schaller of Northampton. 4 granddaughters, Charissa, Jessica, Chloe, and Paige. sister, Nancy wife of Joseph Cappolella of Bethlehem. brothers, Frank and Garry, both of Whitehall. several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Janet Buss, and Sharon Stein.
