David J. Stover

David J. Stover, 79 of Northampton, PA passed away on Monday January 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA. Born February 19, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur Stover and the late Emily (Colbert) Stover. He was the husband of the late Annabelle F. (Praetorius) Stover, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

David worked for over 50 years as a Trucker, hauling for Greg Beamesderfer Trucking, and then Taurus Lawn Mowing and Snow Plowing. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. David also liked to work on cars, and lawnmowers, always found fixing and painting something.

Survivors, son, David Stover & wife Christine of Northampton, PA, daughter, Lisa wife of Matthew Hader of Northampton, PA, granddaughters Cheyenne wife of Dakota Lutz of Fountain, CO, Chelsey Stover and companion Ryan Moyer of Catasauqua, PA, Chelby Stover and fiance Arthur Longley of Northampton, PA, great-grandchildren Maximus and Montana Lutz of Fountain, CO. David will be missed by Drizzy, his beloved Pit Bull, who was by his side till his last day. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Sintay.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton PA, 18067, has been entrusted with his care.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children Hospital, or to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cancer Center, both care of the funeral home.
