David E. Strohl

David E. Strohl, 66, of Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, PA, died suddenly early Monday morning, September 14, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus in Lehighton.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Arthur Strohl, Sr., and Mary (Breiner) Strohl-Schoch.

David was owner, operator, and trimmer of Dave and Son Tree Service, Palmerton for several years.  Previously, he worked for the Asplundh Corporation, and the Jaflo Corp., Allentown.  A 1977 graduate of the Palmerton High School, he was an avid bowler who enjoyed going to the former Palmerton Zinc Bowl.

Survivors: Daughter, Malnda wife of Gary Conklin of Parryville.  Son, David E. Strohl, II, of Lehigh County.  2 grandchildren.  Sister, Delores M. Strohl M. Strohl and fiance, Alfred Reph, III, of Palmerton.  Brother, Arthur, Jr., and wife Nancy Strohl of Parryville.  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Walter, and Roger.
