David A. Zellers

David A. Zellers, Sr., 94 of Kunkletown, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 1, 2025, at his residence. Born July 26, 1931, in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph H. Zellers, Sr. and the late Stella (Schaffer) Zellers. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Rohrbach) Zellers who passed away on August 16, 2000.

David was a Truckdriver employed by Roadway Trucking Corp., Phillipsburg, PA for 19 years until retiring in1986. After retiring from Roadway, David took a part time position driving School bus for First Student, serving the Northampton Area School District for 5 years. David attended Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, PA. He served his country in the US Army as a Private in Japan from 1948 to 1950.

David is survived by his son, David A. Zellers, Jr of Slatington, PA and companion Kristina Kloss, Mrs. Gloria Farenkopf of Kunkletown, PA and Mrs. Esther Fry and companion Corey Derhammer of Northampton, PA; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 7 brothers and 1 sister.

A Graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday December 10, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery, Valley View Drive, Emmanuelsville, PA 18014 with the Rev. Rachel Ziese Hacker officiating. Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton, PA has been entrusted with his arrangements and care.
