Dean C. Serfass

Dean C. Serfass , 75, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his home, on January 2, 2021.  He was the loving husband of 50 years to Nancy M. (Wasilkowski) Serfass.  Born in Palmerton, Dean was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Eckhart) Serfass.

He was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville.  Dean started his early automotive career working for Sander Motors, in the 60's.  Dean started and operated his own businesses, D&J Auto Inc., U-Drive of L.V., and Tri-County Dispatch, from 1970-2008.  Later, he was employed as a bus driver for the Carbon Lehigh IU #21.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his daughter, Jill Marie and her husband, Steve Whitney, of Palmerton.  Son, Gregory Serfass of Palmerton, and four grandsons, Aaron and Alex Whitney, Nicholas and Jacob Serfass.  Brother-in-law.  Nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Egan Serfass.
