Debra L. Siekonic , 70 of Northampton-Lehigh Twsp., PA, passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home on Monday, November 6, 2023. Born June 21, 1953 in Palmerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Silfies and the late Joyce (Everett) Silfies. She was the wife of Joseph J. Siekonic with whom she shared 34 years of marriage this past December 16, 2022.

Debra was a graduate of Cedar Crest College earning a Bachelors Degree in Business. She was last employed as an Underwriter for the Chubb Insurance Co, Bethlehem for 18 years until retiring in 2016. Prior to she worked as the Office Manager for Stanwood Mills, Slatington, PA for 19 years. Debra was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Emmanuelsville, PA. She was formerly active with the Silver Sneakers group at the Northampton Recreation Center. She took classes at the Baum School of Art which aided her in her painting, and being very crafty with her hands. She enjoyed vacationing, travel, cruising, reading, and gardening.

Surviving along with her husband Joseph are daughters, Tracy Pellegrino of Apopka, FL and Kelly Werner of Northampton, PA, son, Jason Rauch and wife Kimberly of Whitehall, PA, step-daughter, Trisha wife of Norman Best of Northampton, PA, step-son, Joseph J. Siekonic, Jr. of Allentown, PA, brothers, Herman Silfies and wife Chong of Cottonwood, CA, David Silfies and wife Denise and Timothy Silfies and companion Donna Balliet both of Palmerton, PA, sisters, Susan wife of Jeffrey Stettler of Allentown, PA and Karen wife of Mark Hayman of Jim Thorpe, PA; 4 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 11, 2023 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Paulette K. Obrecht officiating. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
