Debra L. Wetzel

Debra L. (Borger) Wetzel , 59, of Hickory Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp., PA, died peacefully Monday morning, April 17 2023, in her home.  She was the wife of David P. Wetzel since August 20, 2005.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Marvin F. and Dorothy M. (Miller) Borger.

Debra was employed as a presser/folder by Paris Accessories, Inc., Walnutport, for 25 years, retiring in 2007.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins Fan.  Debra enjoyed her bowling leagues at the Sokol Hall, Palmerton, and the former Slate Bowl, Slatington, and Cypress Lanes, Lehighton.  She enjoyed caring for her dogs, and diamond painting.

Survivors: Husband.  Sister, Sandra M. Borger of Palmerton.  Brother, Samuel M. of Ephrata.  Father-in-law, Charles Bowman of Valley View.  Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
