Delphin G. Moyer,
78, of Fireline Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died Friday morning, January 19, 2018, at the Village in Palmerton. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Brics) Moyer for over 55 years. Born in Parryville, he was a son of the late Grover, Sr. and LaRue (Barroll) Moyer.
Delphin was employed as a general laborer for the former NJ Zinc Company, Palmerton, for over 40 years. Later, he worked custodial services for Michael Everett, DDS, Palmerton. A 1957 graduate of the Lehighton High School, he served his country honorably in the Army, Vietnam Era, and achieved the rank of SP4 E4 (T). Delphin enjoyed spending time outside working or being a general handyman. He liked to bowl, and watching all types of sports.
Survivors:
Wife, Barbara. Sisters, Barbara Burns of Effort, Lorraine Wertman of Palmerton, Carolyn wife of Ronald Green, Nancy wife of Butch Snyder, all of Lehighton. Brothers, Grover, Jr. and wife Nancy of Lehighton, Ronald and wife Ella, Darryl and wife Marylou, all of Palmerton. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Michael, and son, David G. in 2009, as well as sisters, Gloria Walck, Marcy Wolfe, and Geraldine Schock.

11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2018 and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow, and is with Military Honors, at St. Vladimir's Lower Cemetery, Fireline Road, Palmerton. Officiating will be the Rev. Fr. Frank A. Hanincik.
