Dennis M. Dunbar, Sr.

Dennis M. Dunbar, Sr., of Highland Hills Road, Lehighton, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at his home.  He was the husband of Verna A. (Harris) Dunbar since February 15, 1969.  Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Myron and Loretta (Blose) Dunbar.

Dennis was employed as a machinist for KME Fire Apparatus, Nesquehoning for over 20 years, retiring in 2020.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, Lehighton.  Dennis enjoyed Philadelphia professional sports including, the Eagles, Phillies, and the Flyers.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Lisa M. Dunbar of Lebanon.  Sons, Dennis M., Jr. and wife Trishina of Hazleton, and Lewis of Bowmanstown.  3 grandchildren, Tyler, Isaac, and Taden.  1 great-granddaughter, Eloise.  Sisters, Carolyn Andrulevich, and Darlene Miller, both of Lehighton, Deborah wife of Richard Shook of Palmerton.  Brother, Ronald and wife Jean of Jim Thorpe.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Larry.
