Dennis C. Frantz

Dennis C. "Dan" Frantz , 70 of Allentown, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home. Born March 9, 1953 and raised in Nazareth, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Frantz, Sr.  and the late Shirley (Shafer) Frantz. He was the husband of Bonnie D. (Hess) Frantz with whom he shared 27 year of marriage this past Jan. 14, 2023.

Dan was last employed by Dave and Wayne Auto Service, Bethlehem, PA for 35 years before retiring in 2013. He was an avid fisherman, who also loved racing, being a mechanic, and going for a drive.

Survivors: Surviving along with his wife Bonnie are son, Kelly Frantz of Slatington, PA, Daughter, Nicole wife of Johnathan Souders of Northampton, PA, brothers, Robert and wife Lisa Frantz, Charles  Frantz, Jr., Dale and wife Terri Frantz, Gary Frantz and wife Roxanne  all of Northampton, PA and George Frantz of Philadelphia, PA, sisters, Peggy Frantz  of  WV and Mrs. Linda Giensinger of Whitehall, PA; Nephew Kevin Hess, Allentown, PA; Grandchildren, Kyle, Hailey, and Aden.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday June 12, 2023 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to services.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
