Dennis H. Kressley

Dennis H. Kressley , 76 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA. Born April 2, 1947 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Isabel (Dewalt) Kressley and step-father Walter Radon. He was the husband of Linda (Benninger) Kressley, with whom he just shared 50 years of marriage with this past August.

Dennis was last employed as a laborer for the Bethlehem Steel Corp., Bethlehem, PA for 33 years before retiring in 1995. He served his country as a Specialist 4 in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Dennis was a life member and former board member of the Blue Mountain Fish & Game Assoc., Walnutport, PA., he was also a member of Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, and former member of Ranger Lake, Coplay, PA. Dennis was an avid fisherman who enjoyed his trips to Canada, and sharing his love of fishing with his children and grandchildren. He had a great love of the outdoors and loved to feed and watch the birds. He also enjoyed his sports, and always rooted for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Surviving along with his wife Linda are son, Bernard J. Kressley, Sr. of Walnutport, PA, daughter, Nicole L. Eiden wife of Vincent of Northampton, PA, brother, Melvin Kressley, Jr., 5 grandchildren; Caleb, Nicholas, Bernard, Jr., Cheyenne, Greyson. 4 great-grandchildren; Hope, Thea, Gabriel, and Willow.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM on October 6, 2023 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067, with Rev. Todd Fennell officiating. Interment with Military honors will follow at Zion Cemetery, Kreidersville, PA.
