Dennis D. Rice

Dennis D. Rice, 73 of Allen Township, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at his home.
Born Friday, May 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Herbert O. and Verna C.(Silfies) Rice.
He worked as an engineer for LSI, Lucent, and Agere for many years before retiring. Dennis honorably served in the US Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club.
He is survived by his son, Daryl C. Rice of Northampton, companion Susan I. Roth, of Allen Township, sister, Marjorie E. wife of Earl C. Sloyer of Bath, and nephew Kerr D. and wife Barbara Sloyer of Leland, NC.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton. Interment will follow with military honors at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
