Dennis J. Sondej

Dennis J. Sondej , 70, of Mountain View Drive, Lehighton, Towamensing Township, Carbon County, formerly of Garfield, NJ, died peacefully Monday morning, April 29, 2024, in his home.  He was the husband of Hanna Jenczelewska.  Born in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary R. (Maciejewska) Sondej.

Dennis was employed as a product manager for ACME Supermarkets, Sand Brook, NJ, for many years until retirement.  He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.  Dennis enjoyed Dallas Cowboys Football, and New York Baseball.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Agata Jenczelewska (Barry Lipsitz) of New York, NY.  Son, Piotr Grzegorz Jencelewski (Annette) of Beverly, NJ.  2 grandchildren, Sienna, and Hudson.  1 sister.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 12:30 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2024, Our Lady of Czestochowa National Shrine, PO Box 2049, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.  Interment, Shrine Cemetery, Doylestown.
