Diane L. Lowry

Diane L. (Counterman) Lowry , 61, of Cornell Avenue, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp., died Thursday evening, September 15 2022, at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Bethlehem.  Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Mildred (Smith) Greenzweig.

Diane was employed as a seamstress by the former Scotty's Fashions Co., Palmerton and Little Gap, for many years.  Later, she worked in the parts dept. of Werner Trucking, Kuhnsville.  She attended the Living Hope Lighthouse Church, Palmerton.  Diane was a member of the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, where she enjoyed playing bingo.  She liked her arts and crafts, music, movies, and spending time with her grandsons and twin sister.

Survivors: Sons, Michael P. Wallace and wife Kristy Jones of Egypt, Whitehall Twp., and Jon S. Snyder of PA.  Grandson, Jayce Snyder.  Twin sister, M. Denise wife of Dennis Smale of Bowmanstown.  Sister, Stacey wife of James Arthur of Coopersburg.  Brother, Stewart Counterman of Lehighton.  Nieces, Desiree Kemmerer Rachael Greenzweig, and several other nieces and nephews.  Fiance, John M. Snyder, with whom she resided.  She was predeceased by brothers, James Counterman, Walter Counterman, Rueben Counterman, Richard Counterman, and Albert Counterman.

Services: Memorial Services, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday September 21, 2022, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Private Interment.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
