Diane M. Newhart

Diane M. Newhart, 74 of Catasauqua, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born May 13, 1947 in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Helen M. (German) Strohl, Sr. and wife of the late Earl T. Newhart, Jr.

Diane enjoyed making plastic canvas work, quilting, and knitting and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.

She is survived by daughter, Patricia A. wife of Kelly Snyder of Catasauqua, son, Thomas E. and wife Crystal Newhart of Bath, brother, William E. Strohl, Jr. and wife Pat of Cherryville, sisters, Dolores wife of Allen Scheetz, Sr. of Bath, and Ruth Ann wife of Jack Heffelfinger of Walnutport, grandchildren, Brandon, Destiny, Tyler, Timothy, and Cody. She was predeceased by daughter, Tina M. Landis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a 2:00 PM funeral service, all on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
