Dianne T. Rizza, 73 of Nazareth, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's,
Bethlehem. Born May 4, 1944 in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Mary R. (Gerdoc) Matejicka and wife of
the late Joseph Rizza, Jr.
She was a Registered Nurse and nursing instructor at Sacred Heart Hospital and cared for seniors at 2021
ManorCare, Bethlehem for many years before retiring in 2002. She was always giving of herself and touched the
lives of many people.
She is survived by sons, Edward S. Rizza of Nazareth, Joseph Rizza, III of Scranton, daughter, Jane wife of Thomas
Sadiq, sister, Evelyn Geiger of Whitehall, grandson Aidan Robbins, sister-in-law, Gloria Correll of Palmerton, brother
Joseph and wife Grace Matejicka of Egypt, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her late husband and parents Dianne has now joined her two late siblings, Edward Matejicka and Mary
Auble, mother-in-law Pauline Rizza, and beloved dogs Apollo and Micah.
Services will be arranged privately and at the convenience of the family.

in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
