Dolores R. Borger

Dolores R. (Kemmerer) Borger , 93, of Dinkey Road, Ashfield, E. Penn Twp., died peacefully Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022, in her home.  She was the wife of the late Bartine C. Borger who passed in 2002.  Born in Bowmanstown, she was a daughter of the late Miles P. and Evelyn M (Holtzer) Kemmerer.

Dolores was employed by the former Lamp Shade Co., E. Penn Twp., later in Weissport.  She then worked in the bakery of the former Laneco Grocery Market, Lehighton.  She was a member of Dinkey Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield.  Dolores was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed caring for her family.

Survivors: Daughter, Melani J. wife of Kerry L. Bowman of Lehighton.  Sons, Darryl L. and fiancee Susan R. Coons, and Rodney K. and wife Peggy, all of Lehighton.  Son-in-law, James Barth of WI.  8 grandchildren, Lisa, Pam, Jason, Jamie, Daniel, Scott, Brian, and Cory.  5 great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Gail A. Barth in 2006, and a brother, Larry.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, Dinkey Lutheran Church, PO Box 250-1742 Dinkey Road, Ashfield, PA 18212.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday in the church.  Interment, Church Cemetery, East Penn Township.  Arrangements, Miller Funeral Home, Lehighton.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
