Dolores M. Egge

Dolores Mary Egge-Coles , 85 of Easton, PA, formerly of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born June 1, 1939, in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank L. Schwartz, Jr. and the late Mary (Keschl) Schwartz. She was the wife of the late Neil A. Coles who passed away November 3, 2016.

Dolores was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. After raising her family, she went to work as a Sales Associate for the Mattress Fair, working in both the Whitehall and Allentown locations for over 25 years. Dolores was a member of Queenship of Mary RC Church, Northampton, PA. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who always enjoyed attending their activities and celebrations throughout the years.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Heydt (William) of Newark, DE, Christine Amey (Colin) of Alburtis, PA, Colleen Funari (Michael) of Easton, PA, Mary Beth Schimeneck (Robert) of Allentown, and son, Michael Egge (Angelina) of Macungie, PA; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Thomas Egge, daughter, Francine Egge McEwen, and granddaughter, Hope Schimeneck.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday October 10, 2024, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Deacon Michael Doncsecz officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
