Dolores M. Laser,
84 of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton, PA. Born May 24, 1933 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roland P. Kidd and Hilda M. (Saul) Kidd. She was the wife of the late Albert M. Laser who passed away in April 1996.
Dolores was employed as a Cafeteria Monitor for the Whitehall-Coplay School District for 30 years before retiring in 1997. Prior to, she worked as an Accountant for Altemos Oil & Heating in Allentown for several years. She was member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she volunteered her time for many years assisting with the church bulletins. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling with the Coplayettes at the Saengerbund, Coplay and assisting with the Girl Scout Troop #954 of Egypt, PA.
Survivors: She is survived by daughter, Pamela M. Hochstrasser of Whitehall, PA, sister, Karen K. Melber of Allentown, PA; Granddaughter; Kayla Hochstasser and fiancé' Brandyn Bechtel, of Northampton, PA.
Services: A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday November 6, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067, with the Rev. John Eric Lamb officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017, and November 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM prior to the services both at the funeral home.
