Dolores J. Staudt, 82 of Nazareth, PA. died Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community in Nazareth, PA. Born August 31, 1934 in Tatamy, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin L. Ruloff and Pearl E. (Yeisley) Ruloff. She was the wife of the late Lawrence N. Staudt who passed away in September 2001.
Dolores was a graduate of Nazareth High School who went on to work for the former Nazareth Cement Co. as a payroll clerk for 10 years. She then found a position with the Nazareth Mutual Ins. Co. as a secretary for a few months. Finally, having a long term career with the former Second National Bank of Nazareth, first as a secretary,
and earning her way to Branch Administrator ending her 30 year career in 1996 with Lafayette Bank. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Nazareth, PA. She volunteered her time at Gracedale Nursing Home and The Moravian Historical Society Gift Shop both of Nazareth.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Laura Lee Staudt of Nazareth, PA and Barbara J. wife of Richard A. Lerner of Amherst, MA; 2 grandsons; Benjamin and Gregory Lerner.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday September 8, 2016 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA. 18064 with the Rev. Jeffery Brinks officiating. Interment will follow in Forks Church Cemetery Inc., Easton, PA. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday,
September 7, 2016, and Thurs. Sept. 8, 2016 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm both at the funeral home.
Contributions: May be made to St. John's U.C.C. Church Memorial fund C/O the funeral home.
