Donald E. Heiney

Donald E. Heiney , 83, of Chestnut Hill Road, Coopersburg, Upper Saucon Township, Pennsylvania, died Friday afternoon, November 17, 2017, at Praxis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Easton.  He was the husband of Mrs. Viola B. (Hilbert) Heiney since February 28, 1955.  Born in Polk Township, Monroe County, he was a son of the late Guy and Percy (Heiney) Heiney.

Donald was employed in various capacities for Mack Truck Company, Macungie.  A Marine Corp Veteran of Korea, he honorably served his country and achieved the rank of Pfc.

Survivors: Wife, Viola.  Daughters, Dolly Shafer of Allentown, Kathy L. wife of Paul McGuigon of Lower Towamensing Township.  Sons, Lou Heiney of Coopersburg, Lee Heiney of East Greenville, Dan Heiney of Bechtelsville.  4 Grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Cody Heiney.
