Donald C. Kammeyer

Donald C. Kammeyer, 78 of Tatamy, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his daughter's home in Tatamy.

Born January 28, 1944 in Englewood , NJ, he was the son of the late Clyde and Mildred (Wallace) Kammeyer and husband of the late Charlotte N. "Nancy" Kammeyer.

He worked as an assistant store manager for J.C. Penney in Phillipsburg, and Rockaway, NJ and then in retail management at Boscov's in Easton, for many years before retiring in 2013. Donald grew up in Dumont, NJ and loved spending summers at the family's lake in Dingmans Ferry, PA, Lake Kemadobi. He was a former Boy Scout leader who loved the outdoors, including fishing, hiking, camping, and canoeing. He also enjoyed basketball and football. He was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Bethlehem Township. Above all, Donald loved spending time
with his family and friends.

He is survived by daughters, Donna M. Rauch of Forks Township, Cynthia E. wife of Daniel Dewey of Tatamy, and Patricia A. Kammeyer of Nazareth, son, Donald K. and wife Ashley Kammeyer of Tatamy, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Nancy E. DiFrancesca, brothers, Kendall Kammeyer and William Kammeyer, sister, Marilyn Bunger.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM followed by an 2:00 PM memorial service, all on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at St. John's UCC, 8065 William Penn Highway, Bethlehem Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ACPMP Research Foundation, in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
