Donald M. Mcgowan

Donald M. McGowan, 73 of Walnutport, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at his home.

Born August 10, 1947 in New York City,he was the son of the late Timothy K. and Eleanor (Bain) McGowan. He was his wife Arlene M. (Meuschke) McGowan were married on February 27, 1967.

Donald worked as a Network Operation Engineer for Verizon for 43 years before retiring in 2012 after that he did contracting work for various phone networks. He honorably served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Donald M. and wife Tess McGowan of Slatington, daughters, Kathy L. McGowan of Lake Ariel, PA and Maureen A. McGowan of Brooklyn, NY, sisters, Lynn wife of Walter Dugan of Villa Rica, GA and Susan wife of Eddie Pollich of Farmingville, NY, brother, Robert and wife Rosemary McGowan of Woodbury, NY, and five grandsons.

Services will be announced at a later date.
