Donald L. Steigerwalt

Donald L. Steigerwalt, 82 of Northampton, Pennsylvania died on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hospice, Allentown.

Born December 16, 1938 in Weissport, he was the son of the late Luther and the Pauline (Mertz) Steigerwalt. He and his wife, Barbara A. (Schappell) Steigerwalt, were married on September 15, 1956.

He was the former owner and operator of the Pinecrest Inn, Mechanicsville, and honorably served in the US Air Force. Donald was also a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Cindy L. wife of Dennis Harakal of Egypt, son, Michael D. and wife Caryn Steigerwalt of Newburgh, NY, brother, LaMar and wife Carole Steigerwalt of Montana, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by son, Rick D. Steigerwalt.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a 2:00 PM memorial service, all on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067.
