Donald B. Vandegrift

Donald B. Vandegrift , 80 of Northampton, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at VNA Hospice House at. St. Luke's, Bethlehem. Born January 24, 1943 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Lorraine (Brown) Vandegrift and husband of the late Carol A. (Schwindenhammer)  Vandegrift.

He was a life long printer in the Lehigh Valley area, before retiring from Lehigh University, Bethlehem. He honorably served in the U.S. Army National Guard between 1964 to 1970 and was a member of the Eckley E. Patch Post 470, American Legion, Bath.

Survivors: He is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. wife of Anthony J. Weber of Northampton, and granddaughter, Ashley. He was predeceased by brother, Robert Vandegrift.

Services: The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a 1:30 PM funeral service, all on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Laurys Station.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, in care of the funeral home.
