Donna M. Behler

Donna M. (Hettler) Behler, 60, of Centre Street, Parryville, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Friday evening, January 4, 2019, in her home.  She was the wife of Richard H. Behler since September 9, 1972.  Born in Parryville, she was a daughter of the late Ira A. and Lois E. (Kerschner) Hettler.

Donna was employed as a machine operator for the former Scotty's Fashions Company, Palmerton, and Paris Neckwear, Walnutport.  She was a longtime member of the Parryville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.

Survivors: Husband, Richard.  Daughter, Melissa L. wife of Girard Lee Getz of Lehighton.  Son, Daniel S. Behler of Parryville.  4 Granddaughters. 2 Great-Grandsons. Sister, Betty wife of Richard Holtzer of Easton, MO. Nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by infant daughter, Valarie, infant son, Richard H. Jr., grandson, Jeremy Behler in October of 2018, sister, Cindy Counterman, and a brother, John Hettler.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2019, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow services, at Parryville Cemetery, Centre Street.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
