Donna L. Cope

Donna L. Cope, 54 of Bath, PA, died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in
Bethlehem, PA. Born April 16, 1963 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Orrin K. Rute and Madeline L.
(Getz) Rute. She was the wife of Larry L. Cope with whom she shared 21 years of marriage last November 22, 2016.
Donna was a graduate of Northampton High School who last worked as a clerk for the PA Liquor Control Board, at
the Northampton State Store for 15 years before retiring in 2015. Donna was a caring wife, mother, and sister to her
family and in her spare time she enjoyed rafting and shopping.

Surviving along with her husband Larry are; son, Woodrow C. Buskirk of Danielsville, PA, daughter, Rachel M. Cope
of Bath, PA, stepsons; Aaron and wife Juno Cope, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Ryan and wife Jacki Cope, of Batavia, IL;
brother, Ryan P. Rute of Danielsville, PA, sisters, Jane D. Harmon of Allentown, PA, Marge wife of Thomas Meyers
of Saint Augustine, FL and Lana L. wife of Samuel Elias of Annville, PA. A grandson Colton Buskirk and nieces and
a nephew.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday May 8, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave.
Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Michael Netznik officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to
8:30 PM on Sunday, May 7, 2017, and Monday May 8, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the services both at
the funeral home. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
