Donna M. Schlicher, 51, of Kurtz Street, Catasauqua, PA, died peacefully Thursday evening, February 18, 2016, in her home. She was the wife of William "Bill" K. Schlicher, Sr., since August 20, 2011. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Eckhart, Sr. and Mrs. Catherine (Sherman) Eckhart of Northampton.
Donna was employed as a location controller for Walgreens, Bethlehem, PA for 23 years, retiring in 2014. She was a 1983 graduate of the Northampton Area Senior High School. An avid motorcyclist, Donna also enjoyed caring for her dogs, and her notebook.
Survivors: Husband. Daughter, Michaela Kincaid of Catasauqua. Sons, SrA Kyle Gonya, USAF of Hill AFB, Ogden, UT, William "Billy" K. Schlicher, Jr. of Schnecksville, PA. Sister, Carol wife of Russell Hunter of Punta Gorda, FL. Brothers, Allen and wife Donna of Albrightsville, Bryan of Northampton, Ernest "Chuck" Eckhart, Jr. & fiancee Nancy of Laury''s Station. Several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016 and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, in the funeral home. Interment is at Grandview Cemetery, Walbert Avenue, Allentown.
