Doreen Kaintz, 82 of Whitehall formerly of Northampton, died Monday, February 13, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospice,
Allentown, PA. Born June 9, 1934 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Leonard C. and Lillian C. (Slough) Leindecker and wife of the late August F. Kaintz. She was last employed by Russell Stover Chocolates, Allentown, PA., as a Shipping Clerk and Office Clerk for 16 years before retiring in 1985. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay, PA. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rose Croix Chapter #235, Northampton, PA; Young at Heart Group-Assump. B.V.M. Church, Northampton, also a past member of the Northampton V.F.W. Seniors, the Coplay Seniors and Northampton Senior Groups. She also volunteered her time at the Northampton Food Bank.
She is survived by a brother, Ronald and wife Charlotte Leindecker, Northampton, sisters, Karen wife of Jack Wolfe of Whitehall, and Kathleen wife of Glenn Deist of Northampton, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Hillard Leindecker, Sr., and Leonard Leindecker.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a 10:00 AM funeral service on Thursday,
February 23, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067.
