Dorie Lynn Clayton , 64, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Monday, December 8, 2025, in her home.

Dorie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She deeply loved and was loved by her family and children, who were her whole world. Her seven grandchildren filled her life with purpose and joy. She endlessly supported her children and grandchildren, with whom she loved playing games, reading stories, going for walks, and watching sporting events and dance recitals. All of her grandchildren's lives have been profoundly enriched by her presence. Dorie cherished her family vacations to Ocean City, NJ, which had been a tradition in her life since childhood.

She was born in Sellersville, Bucks County to the late William and Doris (Magargal) Clayton. Dorie was a 1979 graduate of Souderton High School. Dorie worked in the claims processing department of Aetna Insurance Co., Allentown, for the past 27 years.

Survivors: Dorie is survived by her daughter, Sara L. and her husband Richard Moyer, Jr. of Palmerton and son, David C. Eisenhauer and his wife Winnie Chang of Jersey City, NJ; seven grandchildren, Richard III, Levi, William, Mason, Hanna, Ellianna, and Wren; sisters Sandra Clayton-Gagnon and her husband Kenneth Gagnon of Pittsford, VT, and Amy Clayton Fritz and her husband Jerry Fritz of Coopersburg; brother Steven and his wife Jane Clayton of Zionsville; and eight nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and -nephews.

Services: A private memorial service and burial will be held at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Sellersville PA.  A public celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton. Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
