Doris A. Hager

Doris A. Hager , 98 of Whitehall, PA formerly of Cherryville PA passed away on May 8, 2023, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. Born April 14, 1925 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milton and the late Florence (Steinmetz) Druckenmiller. She was the loving wife of Joseph H. Hager who passed away in August 2009.

Doris worked as a sewing machine operator for various Textile Mills in the Northampton area for over 20 years before retiring in 1987. She was the oldest living member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville PA, where she was also a member of their Best Years Fellowship Group.

Survivors , daughters; Sally A. Wilmot of Walnutport, PA and Jo Anne wife of Timothy Sabia of Northampton, PA; sister-in-law; Marion Druckenmiller of Cherryville, PA, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Newhard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 11, 2023 at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mt. Drive, Cherryville, PA 18035, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue Northampton, PA, 18067, has been entrusted with her care and service.
