Doris E. Kleintop

Doris E. Kleintop, 87 of Nazareth, passed into the more immediate presence of our Lord and Savior on February 20, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born March 12, 1933 in Stockertown, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Blanche (Engler) Mengel and wife of the late Sherwood J. Kleintop.

Doris was a member of the Nazareth Moravian Church, Nazareth and worked for the American Newspaper Publishers Association for forty years, retiring as a Technical Supervisor of the Newsprint Materials Testing Service in 1992.

She is survived by daughter, Daun wife of Norton "Skip" Hentschel of Nazareth, son, Daniel and wife Miriam "Mimi" Kleintop of Virginia,  brothers, Robert and wife Dot Mengel of Virginia, Larry and wife Adrienne Mengel of North Carolina, Darrell Mengel of Nazareth, Morris and wife Joanne Mengel of Ohio, granddaughters, Hope wife of James Pearson, Lynda Lancaster-Loyd wife of Harry Loyd, Deborah wife of Todd Rice, and Kimberly wife of Carl Compitello, great grandchildren, Gabrielle "Gabby" Pearson, Joshua Meyer, Riley Meyer, Andrew Rice, and Jonathan Rice and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Martin Mengel, and sister Lois Schoenenberger.

Services will be announced at a later date.
