Doris H. Pizzuto

Doris H. Pizzuto, 91, formerly of Nazareth, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Renaissance Senior Homes Forks, in Forks Township.

Born August 7, 1934 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Earl F. and Violet (Gambler) Hagenbuch and wife of the late John Pizzuto, who passed away in 1986.

Doris was a 1952 graduate of Nazareth High School and worked at Metropolitan Electric Co., Nazareth office for 8 years, and later at Moravian Hall Square in the housekeeping department for 16 years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth, where she sang in the choir for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne J. Werner of Nazareth, and Desiree wife of Gregg Caldwell of Sunset Beach, NC, son, Stefon J. and wife Dawn Pizzuto of Coopersburg, grandchildren, Kyle and wife Allison Werner, Joel Werner, Danica wife of Alex Kesselman, Zachary Flinchbaugh, and Zoe Pizzuto, niece, Sandy Garr and companion Evan Werkheiser, and nephew Richard and wife Cindy Garr. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Dolores J. H. Garr who passed away in 2017,

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, to benefit the choir, in care of the Batholomew-Schisler Funeral Home 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
