Dorothea C. Heckler

Dorothea C. Heckler , 94 of Hecktown, PA passed away April 8, 2024, at Abington Manor at Morgan Hill in Easton, PA. Born December 29, 1929 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Miller and the late Catherine (Piller) Miller. She was the wife of the late J. Stanley Heckler.

Dorothea was a 1946 graduate of Allen High School and was employed by T.J. Reismeier as a secretary.  She was former president of Nazareth P.T.A. Dorothea was also a cub scout leader in Hecktown, and program chair leader for MAG's Group at church.

Survivors: son, Gregory L. Heckler and wife Joan of Bethlehem, PA, daughter, Sue A. wife of Ricky Johnson of Nazareth, PA, granddaughters, Jessica L. Knopp, Kelly L. Stoudt, Stacy L. Hicks, grandson, Jason C. Heckler, great-grandchildren, Oakley S. Stoudt, Ella A. Hicks, Gia K. Hicks.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00AM April 16, 2024 at Dryland U.C.C. Church 4415 Newburg Road Nazareth. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00AM up until the time of service. Internment will follow at Hope Cemetery Hecktown, PA. Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth PA, 18064 has been entrusted with her care and service.
