Dorothy J. Bretz

Dorothy J. (Becker) Bretz, 86, of New Tripoli, formerly of Allentown, died Friday evening, Mar 9, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Ray M. Bretz who passed in 2003. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Glennon, Sr. and Anna (Gross) Becker.

Dorothy was employed as a pocket setter by Emmaus Manufacturing. She attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Western Salisbury Church, Allentown. Dorothy enjoyed attending the Schnecksville Senior Center.

Survivors: son, Jason R. and wife Judy of E. Penn Twp. granddaughter, Jillian. great granddaughter, Lindsey. sisters, RuthAnn Parker of Whitehall, Carol Herman of Northampton, Nancy Kohler of Bangor. brothers, Glennon Jr. of Coplay, Larry of Bath, Robert of Northampton. nieces and nephews.

Services: 2:00PM Thursday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 1-2:00PM Thursday in funeral home. Interment, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Hanover Twp.
