Dorothy M. Petrakovich

Dorothy M. Petrakovich, 86 of Orefield, PA. died on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at her residence. Born April 4, 1935 in Bethlehem -Steel City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. Sarson, Sr. and the late Anna P. (Goniec) Sarson. She was the wife of the late Charles Petrakovich who passed away in May 2005.

Dorothy worked for the former Greif Co., Allentown as a fuser for over 40 years until it's closing and retired in 1995. Dorothy was a life member of the Fearless Fire Co. and member of it's Ladies Auxiliary, Allentown, PA. She was very active in many organizations for years, Dorothy enjoyed dancing, going on trips, playing bingo. She bowled for years on a Ladies' league at Mountainville Lanes. Dorothy was a loving, kind, caring person, people loved being around.

Surviving are daughters, Kim L. Trainer wife of Jeffrey of Allentown, PA, Cheryl A. Jones of Allentown, PA, and Sharon Moyer wife of Douglas of Orefield, PA. Brothers, Kenneth W. Sarson, Jr. and wife Lee Ann of Bethlehem, PA and Ronald W. Sarson of Effort, PA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kevin Harvilla in 2010, along with three sisters, JoAnn Miller, Geraldine Perry, and Barbara Holley.

A public visitation will be held for friend and family Thursday June 24, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. A Private Graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. A future celebration of life service for the public will be announced at a later date.
