Dorothy E. Reimer, 90 of Northampton- Lehigh Twsp., PA. died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Weston Senior Living Center in Northampton, PA. Born February 3, 1926 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Newhard) Burianic. She was the wife of the late Clayton Reimer, Sr.
Dorothy was a homemaker caring for her family. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, PA. She volunteered her time at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, PA.
Surviving are son, Clayton A. Reimer, Jr. and wife Nancy of Northampton,PA, sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Nafus of Northampton, PA; Mrs. Joyce Miller of Catasauqua, PA; Mrs. Marguerite McDonald of Allentown, PA; Daughter-inlaw; Mrs. Marie Reimer, Northampton, PA. 5 grandchildren: Francis, Stacy, Jonathan, Edward John, and Christina;
6 Great grandsons: Joshua, Tyler, Dawson, Zachary, Jaden, and Brett. She was predeceased by sons, Edward J. in July 2015 and Timothy P. in April 2014.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 16, 2016 at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive Bath, PA. 18014 with the Rev. Barry and Elizabeth Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services in the church. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery,
Bath, PA. Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA. 18067.
Contributions: May be made to Emmanuel Evangelical Luth. Church memorial fund or Heartland Hospice both C/O the funeral home.
