Dorothy G. Salter

Dorothy Grace Salter, 78 of Northampton, Moore Twsp., PA. died Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Lehigh Valley
Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem. Born April 30, 1939 in Bethlehem, Northampton CO., she was the
daughter of the late Cornelius and Margaret (Kennedy) Finn. She was the wife of Dale W. Salter with whom she
shared 60 years of marriage this past June 22, 2017.

Dorothy was a 1956 graduate of Northampton High School, who went on to work for Verizon, Allentown, PA. as a
Service Assistant in Directory Assistance for 20 years before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed her monthly social
luncheon gatherings with fellow Verizon retirees and her High School Classmates. She also loved keeping in touch
with everyone through her social media source...FACEBOOK.

Surviving along with her husband Dale are daughters, Lynn E. Salter and companion Daryl Haftl of Bath, PA and
Susan wife of Terry Woodring of Coplay, PA, 2 Grandsons; Nicholas and wife Katie, and Zachary. She was
predeceased by a grandson, Derek

A Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119
Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Todd Fennell officiating. The family will receive friends from
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the services in the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the
family.
