Dorothy C. Strohecker

Dorothy C. Strohecker, 84 of Phillipsburg, NJ. passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Brakeley Park Center in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Born, April 13, 1935 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Newhard and the late Stella (Young) Newhard.

Dorothy was a sewing machine operator for many years working in various Mills throughout the Lehigh Valley until retiring. She was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Allentown, PA. Dorothy was of the United Church of Christ Faith.

Surviving are daughter, Diane McLain wife of James, and son, Donald E. Kohler and wife Christine both of Phillipsburg, NJ, sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Tust of Allentown, PA and Shirley Kern wife of Donald of Bethlehem, PA; 2 grand children, 2 great grand children, and many step-grandchildren.

Private Graveside services will be held at Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA.
