Drinda L. Greene-Snyder

Drinda L. (Berger) Greene-Snyder, 68, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Monday morning, August 6, 2018, at Country Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of Franklin D. Snyder since September 6, 2009, and the late John S. Greene, who passed in 2006.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter to Merritt H. and Arlene V. (Livengood) Berger of Palmerton.

Drinda was employed as an Executive Assistant for Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, until retirement.  Previously, she worked as a Teller for the former Tri-County lState Bank, W. Bowmans, and also operated her own beauty shop in Walnutport, for many years.  A 1967 graduate of the Palmerton High School, she then graduated from the Empire Beauty School, Allentown.  Drinda was a member of the Mothers of Twins Association, Lehigh Valley, and the Silver Scissors Club.  She enjoyed ceramics.

Survivors: Husband, Franklin.  Parents, Merritt and Arlene Berger. Daughters, Kristine R. wife of Douglas Skates of Lake Geneva,
WI, Jolene L. wife of Daniel Madison of Spartanburg, SC.  Son, Kevin J. and wife Deanna of Longview, TX.  9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  2 Brothers, Darrell of Slatington, and Todd and wife Diane of Little Gap.  2 nieces, and a nephew.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Bethany Wesleyan Church, PO Box 999, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville, PA 18035.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday in the church.  Interment, Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Church Drive, Trachsville, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
