Duane J. Carl, 57 of Walnutport, died on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his home. Born on August 6, 1960 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Harry Carl and Germaine (Bonjean) Carl. He was the husband of Tammy(Sturdik) Carl.
Duane was a graduate of Liberty High School and was employed by Arden Courts. He was a member of the Tri-boro Sportsman Club in Northampton, PA.

Surviving are sons, Christopher Carl of Allentown, PA, Michael Carl of Allentown, PA and Shawn R. Carl of Walnutport, PA, daughter, April M. Carl of Topton, PA, step-son, James Sturdik, Danielsville, PA, step-daughter, Jessica Moyer, South Park, PA, brothers, Kevin Carl & wife Nicole of Northampton, PA and Kerry Carl & wife Lori of Bethlehem, PA, sisters, Linda wife of William Kunsman and Eileen Carl both of Bethlehem, PA; 9 grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Barbara Lee officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday all at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the family c/o Schisler Funeral Home.
